The IMCD Group, a leading global partner for the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients, celebrated the official opening of its new application laboratories for Coatings & Construction and Home Care I&I at BioCampus Cologne in June 2026.

We from the BioCampus Cologne are delighted to welcome the IMCD Group as a new tenant and valued member of our community at BCC.

With these specialised laboratories, IMCD Germany responds to the growing demand for hands-on formulation support, technical services, application-oriented training, and close collaboration.

The modern infrastructure, strong network of research and industry, and the attractive location in the Rhineland metropolitan region provide ideal conditions for further expanding our technical expertise and offering our partners a state-of-the-art development environment”, explains Christoph Garbotz, Managing Director of IMCD Germany.
